In this episode of Downtown Depot, host Austin Meek talks with Dana Miller, owner/operator of The Village Herbalist and Holistic Health Center in East Waco, about what led her to open her store and how she's helping revitalize the neighborhood (6:09).  Meek does a ride-along with Jonathan Garza of Lucra Real Estate to see the development company's projects currently underway in downtown (0:50) and also begins a series of how-to tips for people interested in getting involved with local real estate (4:20).

"The community is ready for it. I don't think there's a big opposition to it. It's just about what we're going to do coming in and who's going to do it. I'm just doing my little part. And now I've kind of gotten on the bandwagon, too. That wasn't my intention coming in to East Waco. I felt like that was just my journey and where I was supposed to be. But I like seeing people be inspired. I watch people get out now and fix their houses up and they're doing things because they see the ball kind of rolling and see people beautifying things."
